Managing productization projects and programs

We can manage a complete product development program, manage a portion of it, manage one or more projects within the program, or just manage our piece of the puzzle.  We complement or supplement internal project and program management resources, lead them or work under them.  We can use our own tools and processes or the customer’s.

Setting up program management

Our services include helping our customers set up their internal project, program and portfolio management capabilities.  This can be as simple as mentoring the existing team, or as complex as setting up a global Program Management Office, or PMO (we’ve done this).

We follow the PMBOK (Program Management Book of Knowledge) system in general, although we know that every company’s program management needs differ substantially, so it is only a starting point.

By “Program Management” we really mean “Project, Program and Portfolio Management” but that’s a mouthful
